A minimum of 48 hours from the time of your scheduled appointment is required*

*to avoid cancellation fees!

  • With enough notice, I am happy to reschedule your appointment. Keep in mind, I book 10-14 weeks out in advance. That is when the next available appointment could be from the date that you contact me to reschedule. Please note that squeezing is for lemons, not for hair appointments. Email rachel@thelibraryhairstudio.com to reschedule. 


  • If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, a late cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service will be charged. This fee must be paid before booking another service or to keep future appointments. 


  • In addition to the late cancellation fee, no call/no shows or chronic short notice cancellations might not be given the option to rebook. A reduction in service is considered a cancellation, i.e. scheduled color and cut reduced to only cut. 


  • Family illness, COVID-19, or predicted weather (snowstorms, etc.) are not exempt from this policy. Please stay home if you are sick with the understanding that regardless, these policies apply. By booking with me, you agree to these terms as they’ve been described. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support of The Library. 


  • I pride myself on a certain level of quality per service, which I cannot achieve for you or anyone else scheduled after you if you are late to your appointment. As a result, anyone who is more than 10 minutes late for their appointment could be turned away based on the scheduled service, and late cancellation fees will apply.
